Twemlow is a small community based in rural Cheshire, and at its centre is a small village with the same name.
Originally the village was home to large scale agriculture but much has changed in recent years. Residents can now enjoy restaurants, a number of local businesses and an established private school.
It is without question that the most prominent feature of the area is an impressive Victorian build viaduct, which stands at 30 metres tall and forms part of the Manchester and Crewe railway line.
Twemlow is located just a few miles from the World famous Jodrell Back telescope. The larger-than-life telescope dons a 250ft diameter dish and owns the title of Worlds largest radio telescope. The village is also very close to Holmes Chapel, which has a number of important transport links to Manchester and the North, making Twemlow a great choice for the commuter.
